Second Amendment Rights

We support the right of law-abiding citizens to own firearms and use them responsibly. We partner with groups like the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF) and the National Rifle Association (NRA) to advocate for your second amendment rights and raise awareness of key issues for hunters and sportsmen and women. We also offer ongoing seminars to teach the important lessons of education, awareness and safety.

Funding America’s Conservation Future

Johnny Morris served as national co-chair for the Blue Ribbon Panel on Sustaining America’s Fish and Wildlife Resources collaborative effort to identify a way to sustainably fund the conservation of all fish and wildlife, not just traditional game or sport species. Through ongoing dialogue with leaders from government agencies, nonprofit organizations and private industry, the group released recommendations in 2016 that identified $1.3 billion of existing revenue for wildlife conservation and restoration. These recommendations were converted into a bill introduced to congress shortly after its release.

Envisioning the Future of Saltwater Recreational Fishing

Bass Pro Shops founder/CEO Johnny Morris co-chaired a national panel to develop the first collective vision for saltwater recreational fishing based on economic analysis and scientific recommendations that mobilized the conservation and recreational communities to advocate together for the first time. The panel’s findings led to National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) establishing the first National Recreational Fisheries Plan in 2015 and the progression of key legislative proposals. As a result, even more fishing opportunities are on the horizon for saltwater recreational anglers.
